Booking & prices
How do I book a transfer?
Use the booking form on any page: enter your pick-up point, destination, date, time and passenger count, then your contact details. We reply with a fixed quote, usually within 30 minutes, and your booking is confirmed when you accept it.
Do I pay in advance?
No. You confirm the fixed quote first and pay the driver by card or cash after the ride, or request an invoice for business travel.
What does the price include?
Everything: the vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls, normal waiting time and luggage. The quote you accept is the final price — snow, traffic and cruise-day crowds never change it.
How is the price calculated?
By route and vehicle class, not by a running meter. Distance, expected duration and any tolls are priced once, before you commit.
Can I get a receipt or invoice?
Yes. Every booking can be invoiced with full company details for expense claims — just tick the request in the notes or ask the booking team.
How far in advance should I book?
A few hours is usually enough for a standard sedan; for northern-lights season weekends, cruise days and early-morning pickups, one to several days ahead is safer.
Do you charge more at night, in storms or on holidays?
The quote you receive is the quote you pay, whatever the hour or the weather. Night and holiday jobs are priced when quoted — never adjusted afterwards.
At the airport
Where do I meet my driver at Tromsø Airport?
In the arrivals hall, where your driver waits with a name sign. Full meeting instructions and your driver’s phone number are in the confirmation email.
What happens if my flight is delayed or lands early?
We track every flight and adjust the pick-up automatically. Sixty minutes of waiting after landing are free, which comfortably covers baggage even on busy evenings.
What if I can’t find my driver?
Don’t leave the hall — message or call the number in your confirmation and we will connect you within a minute.
Do you monitor Hurtigruten and cruise arrivals too?
Yes. For pick-ups at the Prostneset terminal we follow the ship’s actual arrival, and for departures we plan backwards from your boarding deadline.
How early should I leave for my flight in winter?
The airport is only 10–15 minutes from the centre, but on storm days we recommend an extra 15–20 minutes of margin — your driver will suggest the right pick-up time when confirming.
Vehicles, luggage & children
How many people fit in one car?
Sedans take up to three passengers with luggage, V-Class vans up to seven, and Sprinter minibuses up to sixteen. For bigger groups we run several vehicles on the same schedule.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, free of charge. Tell us your children’s ages in the booking form and the right seats — infant carrier, child seat or booster — will be fitted before pick-up.
How much luggage can I bring?
A sedan comfortably takes two large suitcases plus cabin bags; the V-Class and Sprinter take roughly one large case per seat. Travelling heavy? Say so and we will size the vehicle accordingly.
Can I bring skis, a pulk, camera tripods or a wheelchair?
Yes — declare bulky items in the notes so the right vehicle is assigned. Ski bags, tripods and foldable wheelchairs travel free; this is an Arctic town, we are used to gear.
Are your cars ready for winter roads?
Fully. Proper winter tyres in season, drivers who live and drive here year-round, and schedules planned with storm margin. Winter is our normal.
Are pets allowed?
Small pets in carriers are always welcome. Larger dogs are usually fine too — mention it when booking so we assign a suitable car.
Changes, cancellations & the ride itself
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes — cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pick-up, and changes are free whenever we can accommodate them (we almost always can). Just reply to your confirmation or message us.
What if the weather cancels my flight or tour?
Tell us as soon as you know and we move the booking with you — weather chaos is exactly when you want a local team on WhatsApp rather than a call queue.
Can I add an extra stop on the way?
Short stops are usually fine — mention them when booking so they are priced in. For multi-stop days and aurora evenings, our hourly chauffeur service is the better tool.
Do drivers speak English?
Yes, all drivers speak English and Norwegian. Our booking team replies in English 24/7.
Do you drive outside Tromsø?
Yes — Sommarøy, Malangen, the Lyngen Alps and anywhere in the region. Distance is simply built into the fixed quote.
Is smoking allowed in the cars?
No — all vehicles are non-smoking. Your driver will happily plan a short break on longer journeys.
How do I complain if something goes wrong?
Email us within 14 days and a person — not a form letter — investigates and replies. Fair fixes, fast: that policy is written into our terms.
